Lohja Microelectronics founded to support Lohja Corporation's electroluminescent display development production in the town of Lohja in southern Finland

Lohja Microelectronics unit was incorporated as Elcoteq Oy Ab

Pilot production started in Tallinn, Estonia

AS Elcoteq Tallinn was established as a legal entity in Estonia
