Elcoteq Hungary Ltd started its operations in Pécs back in 1998. Its plant represented the state-of-the-art in the European electronics industry. Upon the completion of the greenfield investment project, production was started in a floor area of 11,000 m². In January 2000, the company doubled its production volume by acquiring Nokia’s former monitor factory in Pécs. Production activity in Hungary occupies a total area of 200,000 m2, of which 50,000 m2 is used for manufacturing. Elcoteq Hungary Ltd currently has about 4 000 employees.

At our plants in Baranya County, we manufacture Consumer Electronics products, System Solutions products, Mobile Communication Devices, Automotive, Networking Products.
