Traineeship
Trainee positions are open to pupils at secondary vocational school as well as college and university students. In the year 2006, 140 students gained professional experience at our company.
Secondary school pupils can visit us through organized factory tours where we introduce our company, production process and traineeship possibilities. If you want to gain experience at a factory within the high-tech industry, join us for your compulsory practice or for summer work. Opportunities are open to vocational school pupils with specialization in electronics, mechanics or logistics.
Students of higher education can study the most state-of-the-art techniques and technologies and at the same time gain valuable professional experience at our company. Traineeships at Elcoteq Hungary Ltd can take many forms, depending on the needs of your training and our agreement with your school. We offer traineeships for mainly engineering and economical students, in the summer as well as for longer periods during the school year.
You can also write your thesis at Elcoteq. We offer various topics each semester for engineering students.

Cooperation with educational institutions
We are aware of the importance of potential future employees. Therefore building close and long-term cooperation with educational institutions is essential for us. We have concluded agreements to sponsor secondary schools and universities in the form of innovation support and by working closely on the needs of partner schools.
We are involved in the activities of our partner vocational schools by sponsoring the national electronics competition for secondary schools, developing courses together with vocational schools and providing career advice for their pupils.
On college and university level we have a mutual research and development cooperation with the Budapest Technical University. Our engineers participate in professional forums and events, and support theoretical training by giving professional presentations at technical institutions. To support academic staff, we have developed scholarships for professors, which we award every year.
