MSc (Eng.), born 1961, is President and CEO since January 1, 2004. His area of responsibility is developing and implementing the strategy. Since July 2008 his responsibilities also included heading one of Elcoteq's business areas, Personal Communications. In addition to Elcoteq Management Team members, the following functions report to the President and CEO: legal affairs, corporate development, as well as marketing and communications.
Mr. Hartikainen has previously worked as President, Asia-Pacific and Senior Vice President responsible for Business Development in Asia. He joided Elcoteq in February 2000, taking responsibility for Elcoteq's global sales and customer service and was appointed head of Communications Networks business area in the beginning of 2001.
He previously held several positions in Tecnomen Oy, most recently as Director, Customer Operations. Mr. Hartikainen has also worked several years in Canada and Malaysia. Mr. Hartikainen is currently a board member of Technology in Finland (Teknologiateollisuus ry). |
